Dubai: An Indian expat has won Dh100,000 in the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Chance draw.
Muhammad Samees, who lives and works in the UAE, was back home in India when he discovered the big news – his unique Lucky Chance ID had been selected in the draw, making him one of just a handful of winners.
“At that time, I was in India. When I opened the website, I saw ‘Congratulations, you are a winner’,” he recalled, still brimming with joy.

A shared moment with his wife
The moment was made even more special because his wife was by his side when he checked the results.
“My wife was also standing beside me. She asked: ‘What happened?’. And I told her: ‘I won’,” he said, reliving the unforgettable memory.
For Samees, buying a Lucky Day ticket wasn’t just a game of chance but part of a plan.
“When I buy a ticket, I have a plan to build a home.”

Still dreaming bigger
Now, with Dh100,000 in hand and his dream inching closer to reality, he’s not planning to stop.
“I will continue to play because I hope I will win again,” he added.

The Lucky Chance draw is a special feature of the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day game, offering players an additional shot at winning big. Each ticket purchased automatically includes a unique Lucky Chance ID, and seven lucky winners are picked every draw.
